I worked in the Oil and Gas industry for over 40 years.  Initially as a draughtsman before becoming an engineer.  The last seven years were spent running my own company, specialising in digitalisation and data management for onshore and offshore pipelines, systems, and field developments.​

Chartered as an Engineer, Environmentalist and Geographer.

Now retired, my interests include playing sport, walking, military history, and reading.
